Travel Information

For foreign tourists, the application for a temporary visitor's visa must be made in person. The visa allows tourists to stay in the Philippines for twenty-one (21) days. For more information, visit the Department of Foreign Affairs’ website.

Tourist Attractions
  • Intramuros, Manila

    Intramuros (Spanish for "within the walls") was the seat of the Philippine government during more than 300 years of Spain’s rule in the Philippines. Intramuros remains to be one of the country’s most historical places today. Several of the tourist attractions in Intramuros are Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral, and San Agustin Church.

  • Taal Volcano

    Taal Volcano is just a two-hour drive away from the south of Manila. Taal Volcano is considered to be one of the world’s most dangerous active volcanoes but remains famous to travelers who are seeking for adventures in and nearby the area. Most of the popular activities are boating, hiking, or horseback riding. If you wish to relax away from the busy streets of Manila, the region’s best offer is a cup of Barako coffee and a slice of their famous buko pie.

  • By taxi cabs, ride-hailing apps, or private vehicles

    To get to the venue, on your navigation app, set SMX Convention Center Manila (Seashell Lane, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines) as your destination.

  • Parking

    SMX Convention Center Manila provides 400 parking slots at the lower ground level and 8,245 slots within the Mall of Asia Complex.

  • By LRT-1 or MRT-3

    Take the LRT to EDSA station or MRT to Taft Avenue station. From Metropoint Mall, there are jeepneys and buses going to SM Mall of Asia (MOA). From the MOA Transportation Terminal, walk towards Mall of Asia Arena via Pacific Drive. From MOA Arena, walk towards Marina Way. Take a left turn towards Seashell Lane to reach SMX Convention Center Manila.

  • By bus

    On EDSA Southbound, take a bus going to SM Mall of Asia. From the MOA Transportation Terminal, walk towards Mall of Asia Arena via Pacific Drive. From MOA Arena, walk towards Marina Way. Take a left turn towards Seashell Lane to reach SMX Convention Center Manila.

  • By UV Express

    If there is a UV Express terminal at your place, take a ride going to SM Mall of Asia. From the MOA Transportation Terminal, walk towards Mall of Asia Arena via Pacific Drive. From MOA Arena, walk towards Marina Way. Take a left turn towards Seashell Lane to reach SMX Convention Center Manila.

  • Weather

    The Philippines is a tropical country experiencing heavy rainfall from June to August, cooler temperatures from late November to early February, and very sunny summers from March to May. Regardless of the season, it tends to be humid all year round. Lightweight clothes, especially cotton, are recommended to be worn.
